Will you be getting the removable ankle strap?

When I first stumbled upon these gold ankle straps, I was a little confused: in my mind, I couldn’t help but compare them to the thin gold ankle chains that people used to wear (well, even if they didn’t look anything like them) back in the 80’s, which were always considered a little tacky. However, when I had a chance to look at them again, I realized that this was a rather unfair prejudice, and that it was actually a pretty cool idea – in fact, no different from the clip-on brooches and bows you can buy. Change the look of your shoes on a budget.

Of course, the main difference between them is that they don’t actually fasten to your shoes – you just snap them around your ankles – which may seem a little odd to anyone who looks at them closely. However, the idea is similar, as they are designed to allow you to change the look of your shoes without actually having to buy new ones. They can be worn with any style of court shoe and are available in a number of different colors so you can mix and match as needed. My favorites are the gold shoes shown here, purely because I think they can be used with the widest range of uppers, but obviously it depends on what you’re looking for and whether you’re buying a specific pair of shoes, or just buying them to give yourself a try.
