What to wear this Thanksgiving

I thought Thanksgiving might be my favorite holiday. Actually, no. I’ll take a stand – Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. I think it’s because my love language is food (laughs). I am also fortunate that I am able to spend most of the holidays with my family and Rob’s family. Some years I choose to dress comfortably and some years I like to dress a little more elaborately. I think this outfit is a nice blend of both. I wanted to share some Thanksgiving outfit ideas – you know, so you can focus on what you (literally) bring to the Thanksgiving table. I’ve always said that my existence is now, so …… my family expects nothing from me 😉

Thanksgiving Costume Ideas for 2023

A little bit more elaborate – thanksgiving costume ideas

My dress code may be a bit more elaborate, and I have good reason for it! I know a lot of people save dressing up for Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, or New Year’s Eve, but I actually dress up a liiiiiiittle more for Thanksgiving. I’m not actually sure why, but I feel like this has been my dress code formula for a couple years now. I paired this stunning skirt (similar here) with a black sweater I’ve had stashed in my closet for a few seasons now (for this year’s updated version click here). I paired it with a leopard print jacket (I’m also designing a different leopard print jacket for 2020) and really love the combination of these neutrals – it gives …… Thanks. (see what I did there?). I also love mini skirts and knee-high boots, so I paired them with these Isabel Marant boots (similar here and here)
