Chelsea Boots Review
A style that transcends fashion and trends, the Chelsea boot was originally designed in Victorian England in the mid-1800s and has been loved and adored ever since. The Steptronic variant is made from smooth, shiny leather that exudes elegance and luxury with every stitch – the corner support panels are a dark brown color that creates a striking contrast with the tan leather (this darker shade was also chosen for the heel and sole). The material underneath the corner panels is stitched with a novel dotted line, adding a unique aesthetic to the overall structure.
When viewed from the side (whether sitting proudly on a shoe rack or looking in the mirror), you’ll be immediately impressed with the striking silhouette of these boots.
Abrasion Resistance & Comfort
You can pair tan Chelsea boots with almost any outfit you choose that day, and their hue complements almost any color palette (maybe we should give up the everyday yellows and pinks!) . Whether it’s formal wear with lightweight pants and a linen shirt for a summer evening, or a warm jacket, hat and scarf for a chilly winter day when the temperatures drop – however, the ultimate season is undoubtedly fall, when the trees and foliage turn beautiful shades of orange, yellow, and red, and your new tan boots will really come into their own (especially when paired with a beige styles) with coats and chunky knits).
Steptronic has one main goal – to make sure their shoes are comfortable all day long (I’ve personally suffered the perils of shoes and boots that cause severe pain after just a few hours – designer brands take note!) , which is a popular goal in today’s day and age principle.
After a long period of wearing these boots, there’s no doubt that the brand lives up to its name; they’re extremely comfortable, with no signs of chafing or discomfort – a brownie point worth noting for me in this category.
Sizing.
In terms of sizing, I went for the standard UK 8, which was a good choice – they were easy to wear (and, as mentioned in the previous section), a pleasure to wear. When walking, the boots hugged my feet without slipping; they almost felt like they were tailored to my specifications.
Packaging.
The box for the shoes was definitely different than usual, brown in color with the brand name printed on it. The lid opens using a flap system and actually folds down towards you. Inside, you’ll find your boots protected by plenty of soft paper printed with a combination of lettered branding and a dust bag to prevent unwanted damage.
